MarMo Innovation is powered by community — and volunteers are a big part of what makes our markets, programs, concerts, youth events, wellness expos, and community meals possible. There is a place for you at MarMo.
Sign Up to VolunteerWhether you love greeting people, decorating spaces, helping kids feel confident, setting up vendor areas, supporting local artists, pouring wine, serving meals, taking photos, fishing with kids, or jumping in wherever needed — there is a role for you.
When you volunteer with MarMo, you are not just helping with an event. You are helping create affordable access, joyful community experiences, and real opportunities for entrepreneurs, artists, nonprofits, youth, and neighbors across Galveston.

Help bring MarMo events to life — check-in, greeting guests, setup, decorating, breakdown, vendor support, wayfinding, or general event flow.
Great for people who enjoy being around community, music, markets, and creative events.
MarMo Market creates space for local makers, small businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs to sell, connect, and grow.
Volunteers may help vendors load in, direct guests, assist with setup, answer questions, support flow, pour wine when applicable, and keep the market welcoming and organized.
A great fit for people who love small businesses, local art, shopping local, and hospitality.
MarMo's youth programs create hands-on opportunities for young people to explore entrepreneurship, creativity, confidence, leadership, and life skills.
Support MarMo Market Jr. (ages 5–17) with booth setup, encouragement, customer-service help, activity stations, and check-in — or support Teach a Kid to Fish with setup, fishing activities, kid-friendly guidance, and safety support.
All youth-facing roles may require additional screening or approval.
Our community meals and concerts bring people together around food, music, and connection.
Volunteers may help with serving, greeting, setup, cleanup, pantry organization, water stations, or guest support.
Perfect for people who love hospitality and believe everyone deserves a seat at the table.
Have a creative skill to share? We often need help capturing the MarMo story.
A great fit for students, creatives, interns, and anyone building a portfolio.
Some of the most helpful work happens before guests arrive.
We welcome individuals, students, families, businesses, service groups, nonprofit partners, and community members who want to be part of MarMo's mission.
Volunteers under 18 may participate with parent or guardian permission, and some roles may require an adult to be present.
No experience is required for most roles — just kindness, reliability, and a willingness to help.
Once you sign up, our team will review your interest form and reach out when there is a volunteer opportunity that matches your availability and interests. Depending on the event, you may help with setup, guest support, vendor support, activities, hospitality, cleanup, decorating, youth support, or special projects — and we'll always do our best to place you where you feel comfortable and useful.
MarMo works because people show up — with ideas, time, energy, care, and community spirit. Complete the Volunteer Interest Form and we'll find the right opportunity for you.
